High mountains, forests and waters define the topography of one of the most beautiful areas of the East Antioquia, the Melcocho River and Río Verde de los Henaos canyons. . Day 1: Departure from Medellín 6:15 M. Start of Trekking 10 am. We will take a descending path to cross the Melcocho River and begin our ascent towards Vereda El Cedro along paths with wide viewpoints of the Santo Domingo and Melcocho River canyons. We will continue ascending until we reach La cuchilla where we will divide the district of Río Verde de los Henaos towards where we will begin a long descent to the La Torre path where we will spend the night. Day 2: We will begin the tour at 8 am heading to Río Verde where we will take a refreshing swim. Later we will take a steep climb to cross Río Verde de los Montes. We will have a spectacular view of the Páramo de Sonsón. Day 3: We will begin the tour at 7 am, bordering Río Verde de los Montes for most of the time. The first hours are with moderate ascents. The last two hours are quite steep and pass through the most preserved parts of the Murringo path.
