SUMOLAND – A New Sumo Experience in Ryogoku
SUMOLAND is a sumo-themed attraction in Ryogoku, the home of sumo. Supervised by the 63rd Yokozuna, it features powerful sumo performances by former professional wrestlers. You can try stepping into the ring, take photos with sumo wrestlers, and enjoy authentic chanko hot pot made with the Yokozuna’s original recipe.
Mochi-pounding is another popular activity. It’s a new kind of entertainment where you can experience Japanese culture with all your senses.

- Child ticket is required for ages 2-12 years old
- The experience lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Please note that the sumo show is designed as an entertainment experience for both adults and children, and differs from serious morning training or official sumo tournaments.
- If there are many participants for the sumo challenge or mochi-pounding experience, we may limit participation to one representative per group or use a lottery system.
- Souvenirs may vary depending on the season.
- Vegetarian and vegan meals are available upon request. Please inform us at least 2 days before your reservation.
- Please note that the venue is not wheelchair accessible.
- We are unable to provide gluten-free or halal meals, but guests are welcome to bring their own food if necessary.
- Your booking will be confirmed by the provider within 48 hours.
