Highlights

Arrive early, ideally by 5:00 AM, to secure a good viewing spot. Sunrise usually occurs around 5:30 to 6:00 AM, depending on the season. The most popular spot to watch the sunrise is in front of the reflecting pool near the main entrance, where you can capture the temple's reflection in the water. After sunrise, take advantage of the cooler morning hours to explore Angkor Wat and nearby temples before the midday heat.
