You will learn of Rotterdam's humble beginnings up to its development as a giant port city. Rotterdam has been burnt to the ground and built back up again, only to rise as a uniquely set-up mix of old and new architecture, with some hidden gems in between the concrete jungle. These funny apartments (by Piet Blom) are a product of the 70's, built in the 80's, and they represent a typical way of building a 'village inside a city'.
