Katsuoji Temple + Osaka Metro + Kita-Osaka Kyuko Pass
To reach Katsuo-ji Temple in Minoo, Osaka, you can take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line directly to Minoo Kayano Station without transferring to the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line. From there, you can take a bus directly there.
When taking the subway, simply scan the QR code at the ticket gate that supports QR codes to enter and exit the station.

Located in the mountains of Minoh Quasi-National Park in northern Osaka,
Katsuo-ji Temple is a renowned temple with a history of approximately 1,300
years, long revered as the 'Temple of Victory.' Historically, powerful samurai
clans such as the Minamoto and Ashikaga families visited the temple to pray.
Today, it continues to attract visitors from around the world who come to pray
for success in health, career, exams, sports, love, and other significant life
moments.
The 'victory' promoted by Katsuo-ji is not about defeating others, but about
overcoming oneself and conquering inner weaknesses. The countless 'Kachi
Daruma' (Victory Daruma dolls) lined up on the offering shelves within the
grounds are symbols of gratitude left by visitors after their wishes have been
fulfilled, making them one of the most iconic sights at Katsuo-ji.
The temple is nestled within approximately 80,000 tsubo of vast forest, just a
30-minute drive from downtown Osaka, yet it offers a serene atmosphere
surrounded by lush greenery. Visitors can enjoy cherry blossoms and
rhododendrons in spring, hydrangeas in summer, and stroll through vibrant
autumn foliage, with the changing seasons adding unique charm to every visit.

- The temple is not open on a fixed schedule, and the time for worship varies depending on the date. It is recommended to check the latest information on the official website before visiting.
- The latest time to enter the mountain is 30 minutes before closing time. Please pay attention to the closing time on the day.
- Entry to the mountain is free from January 1st to January 5th. No refunds will be given for tickets already purchased.
- Limited to Katsuo-ji Temple entrance ticket only: Free cancellation is available on or before the expiry date shown on the voucher (Japan time). Please contact customer service if needed.
Parking and Traffic Precautions-
- On weekends and Japanese national holidays, parking at the temple requires advance reservation and is only available to vehicles with reservations. Waiting on-site will not be permitted.
- Entry will be restricted when the parking lot is full on weekdays; please pay attention to on-site signs.
