Highlights
This 6-day, 5-night in-depth Tasmania tour takes you through the state
capital, Hobart, and the second-largest city, Launceston, for an immersive
exploration of their diverse scenery and culture. The itinerary does not
include round-trip airfare but covers 5 nights of comfortable accommodation.
We will flexibly adjust the order of the itinerary based on flight times and
group size, ensuring that the daily tour content remains unchanged. We offer a
variety of star-rated accommodation options to ensure your comfort and peace
of mind. Based on past traveler feedback, we recommend choosing 4-star or
4.5-star hotels. It is recommended to book flights arriving and departing from
Hobart Airport to ensure a smooth itinerary connection.
Reference hotels are as follows:
- Hobart—Crowne Plaza Hobart (4.5-star), Hobart City Apartment (4-star), Mayfair on Cavell (3-star)
- Launceston—Hotel Grand Chancellor (4.5-star), Country Club Tasmania (4-star), Village Family Inn (3-star)
- If the above hotels are fully booked, other hotels of the same standard will be arranged.
This itinerary is rich in content, covering world-famous attractions such as
Wineglass Bay, Cradle Mountain, Port Arthur, and Bruny Island. Additionally,
seasonal attractions such as lavender farms in summer, aurora chasing tours in
winter, and the weekly Saturday Salamanca Market will be added to the
itinerary during the appropriate seasons, allowing you to experience the local
culture and customs more deeply.
*Recommended itinerary for November to March; aurora chasing tours can be added during the aurora season.

Purchase Notice
- Children aged 4-11; infants are charged $80 per person per day.
- Holiday surcharges: Hotel prices will be subject to additional surcharges during Christmas, Easter and school holidays. Please confirm the final price with us when booking your tour.
- 3.5-star hotel: Children aged 4-11 years old need to occupy a bed; no price is available for children not occupying a bed.
- For 4-4.5 star hotels: Whether children aged 4-11 can stay in a bed without an extra bed depends on the hotel's bed type and pricing rules. Please confirm this again when booking the tour.
- For solo bookings: Please contact our company in advance to confirm availability and pay the Single room supplement.
- Itinerary: The specific itinerary and order of multi-day tours may be adjusted, but the content will remain the same. Please refer to the local tour guide for details.
- Flight requirements: Guests who need to join a tour on the day of arrival should choose a flight that arrives before 9:30 am; for the return trip, it is recommended to choose a flight after 6:00 pm.
- 6-Day Tour Return Flight Recommendations: For guests departing from Launceston on Day 6, flights departing after 17:00 are recommended; for guests departing from Hobart, flights departing after 19:00 are recommended. The tour guide is expected to depart Launceston for Hobart between 15:30 and 16:00 on Day 6.
- Airport transfer: On the last day of the multi-day tour, the tour guide will take guests directly to the airport. If the flight is late, the tour guide will not provide separate airport transfer service.
- Lavender season: The lavender blooming season in Tasmania is usually from mid-December to mid-January. During the blooming season, the itinerary will include a visit to a lavender garden, and due to time constraints, visits to the Swiss Village and Wetland Park will no longer be included.
- Automatic abandonment of the tour: If a guest leaves the tour or abandons some attractions during the tour, no refund will be given.
- Force Majeure: In the event of changes or cancellations to the itinerary due to uncontrollable factors such as weather or natural disasters, our company will not provide refunds or compensation.
- Flight Changes: Our company is not responsible for compensating or supplementing the itinerary due to changes or omissions caused by airline flight cancellations or delays.
Reminders
A minimum of 4 traveler(s) are required for the tour to depart. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum requirement, the tour will be canceled. An email regarding tour cancellation will be sent 1 day(s) before the departure date
In the event of inclement weather such as typhoons or snowstorms, a decision on whether to cancel the tour will be made 1 day(s) before departure (local time 18:00). Notifications will then be sent via email
Please arrive at the designated location 5 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time
The order of the daily itinerary for multi-day tours may be swapped, but the content remains the same. The daily schedule and sequence of attractions are for reference only and are subject to the guide's arrangements on the day.
On the day before your trip, our company will send an SMS (limited to Australian mobile numbers) to notify you of the next day's guide information, vehicle license plate number, and departure time. If you do not have an Australian mobile number, please contact us in advance to obtain your trip information.
Salamanca Market is only open on Saturdays, but we cannot guarantee that the city tour will be scheduled on a Saturday. Please keep this in mind when booking this tour.
For safety reasons, the Hobart government may close the mountain from time to time during winter when there is rain or snow, which may affect your travel. There will be no refunds or compensation for the cancellation of the Mount Wellington sightseeing tour due to mountain closures. The guide will arrange other attractions based on the situation on the day.
The lavender blooming season is from mid-December to mid-January of the following year. During this period, a visit to the lavender farm will be added. Due to time constraints, the visit to the Swiss village and wetlands park will not be arranged. The admission price for the lavender farm is subject to the price set by the attraction for that year.
