The church of San Felix or Sant Feliu is a basilica located in the city of Girona, originating from the early days of Christianity. It houses the services of the Major Parish of Sant Feliu of the Bishopric of Girona, so called because this was the main temple of Girona before the construction of the cathedral. Its construction, in honour of the martyr Saint Felix, lasted from the 12th to the 17th century and preserves a good part of the Romanesque building, later completed with the naves and Gothic roofs and the Baroque façade. The main attraction is made up of eight extraordinary Roman and early Christian sarcophagi from the 3rd and 4th centuries, found when the church was being built, together with the Gothic tomb of Sant Narcis.
