Today, it has become a business district with many shops and restaurants, especially around Umeda, its most emblematic area. Osaka’s aptly named railway station is located in the centre of Osaka Kita, in the middle of seven other stations. The shrine is also famous for the unfortunate romance between Ohatsu and Tokubei.
