It flows into the Ruzizi River, which further travels southwards into Lake Tanganyika. You'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the tranquility and scenic beauty of Lake Kivu during a 2-night stay. Explore the lake by taking a boat ride to nearby islands, including Napoleon Island (named for its resemblance to Napoleon's hat), Mbabara Island where coffee and macadamia nuts thrive, and the majestic Peace Island, offering a peaceful and picturesque experience.
