The lady explaining the Perankan culture is so detailed! Overall, the experience was exciting and fulfilling! Definitely worth the money! She also kindly assists each guest with the beading! This is definitely an event that can bond with your friends!
I am not a pernakan but I'm proud to learn the origin of the heritage is uniquely Singapore and Malaysia. The Teacher is passionate with her craft ,she is also kind and flexible enough to allow senior to participate. I like the relax environment.
The Peranakan Beading Experience was extremely enjoyable! Angeline is a very good and patient instructor, as well as an ambassador of Peranakan Heritage. The presentation was very informative about the Peranakan culture and gave much context to the beautiful works of art (shoes!). During the workshop, I picked up enough basics to continue my own beading endeavour at home. Thoroughly enjoyable workshop in an antique house that speaks a thousand words…
