About an hour and a half drive on private transportation, an experienced tour guide takes travellers to the Nagarkot hill station. With eye-captivating mountain views with stunning sunrise, have breakfast at Nagarkot, then start hiking towards Changunarayan through the traditional villages. After walking for around 2 hours, the trail takes inside a forest with a short ascending path. After around a half an hour's walk inside the forest, the hiking route leads through a hill ridge, from where the beautiful view of Kathmandu valley and snow-capped mountains can be seen. The hike ends in Changunarayan, and then drives back to Kathmandu after exploring the UNESCO world heritage site Changu Narayan temple.
