Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 09:00 a.m.. Then, we will transfer to Pudong New Area and visit Shanghai Ocean Aquarium. Shanghai Ocean Aquarium is located in Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone in Pudong District and is adjacent to the famous Oriental Pearl Tower and Jin Mao Tower. One of the largest ocean aquariums in the world, it has the world's longest submarine viewing tunnel measuring 155 meters in length. The submarine viewing tunnel enables visitors to have a wonderful tour here. Shanghai Ocean Aquarium consists of two pyramid-shaped buildings - a main building and an annexe. The main building is divided into different exhibition zones: China Zone, South America Zone, Australia Zone, Africa Zone, Southeast Asia Zone, Cold Water Zone, Polar Zone, Sea and Shore, Deep Ocean Zone and Special Exhibitions. The exhibits include more than 300 types and 15,000 water creatures and rare fishes, such as poison dart frogs, jellyfishes, moonfish, leafy sea dragons and emperor penguins. Then, we will walk walk around Former French Concession area.

Known for its tree-lined boulevards, the former French Concession is a stylish neighborhood boasting a charming mix of Chinese and European architecture. Walk along quiet alleyways, absorb the botanical beauty of a French-style park and admire the intricate facades of villas and apartments built in the early 20th century and discover the famous figures that have resided within.

Xintiandi is a tourist attraction that preserves the historical and cultural features of Shanghai and integrates Chinese and western culture. Xintiandi is divided into northern and southern parts. The south is dominated by modern architecture. The north is dominated by Shikumen old buildings. Composed of Shikumen and modern architectural style, now it has become a hot and fashionable pedestrian street in the center of the city. Actually, it stands for the popular and leisurely life style of this city's new generation. The outdoor cafes, bars and romantic restaurants can be seen everywhere. Then, we will visit Shikumen Museum and learn about the living space and lifestyle of Shanghai people in those days.

It is an old shikumen house built in the 1920s that has been preserved and renovated. The museum was built according to the model of one household in the 1920s. There are seven main exhibition rooms, namely, the guest room, the study room, the old people's room, the master room, the daughter room, the pavilion room and the oven room. The story of a shikumen family runs through the whole visit. It not only shows the unique shikumen architectural culture of Shanghai, but also reproduces the living space and lifestyle of Shanghai people in those days. According to your preference, your guide will recommend a place to eat near Xintiandi, which could be a small local eatery or elegant cuisine restaurant. Then, we will visit the most famous temples in Shanghai - Jing’an Temple.

Jing'an Temple is one of the most famous temples in Shanghai which is located at West Nanjing Road, the flourishing downtown area of Shanghai. Jing'an Temple is a good place to escape the hustle and bustle of crowds in downtown Shanghai. In the meantime, you can enjoy the marvellous painting and calligraphy by Yangzhou's Eight Eccentric Painters in the Exhibition Hall of Buddhist Relics. An important display of this temple is the bronze bell which was made in the Ming Dynasty. Then, we will transfer to M50 Creative Park.

In the characteristic industrial buildings of a former textile mill you will find a significant group of contemporary art galleries, cafes and craft shops. The roster of galleries comes and goes. Some are tucked away upstairs in the buildings alongside other creative businesses so it is a good place to explore. From a quality point of view look out for ShangART who have two venues here, Chronos Art Centre, who specilise in new media; A+ and Antenna Space have also created large and good looking exhibition environments, preserving the character of the buildings. Then, we will walk along Duolun Road to visit life size bronze statues of the eminent writers and Luxun Park.

Duolun Road, previously known as Darroch Road after a British missionary, is a tiny part of Shanghai that will transport you to a bygone era when Chinese literati and social elites were fashionable and making waves in the country's fabric in their many ways. This is a pedestrian street today and was home to many famous writers, artists, poets and social workersthrough the 1900s. The likes of Ding Ling, Rou Shi, Mao Dun and many others lived in different parts of this street and area. Hong De Tang Church This church is a grand structure on this street. Being a rare architectural structure, maybe the only one of its kind in the city, this attracts lots of attention from passers-by. The Christian church is built with Chinese architectural styles. If you are lucky, you may catch a wedding shoot underway here.
