Settled in 1753, Lunenburg is the second oldest British colony in Canada and home to the world famous tall ship, Bluenose II. Strolling through the streets of Lunenburg will take you back to an era long ago, when most of the inhabitants made their livelihood from the bounty of the sea and home to some of the finest seafood in Canada. See for yourself why this small charming town is one of the most endearing of its kind. You'll have 2:30 hrs. The rugged and captivating landscape is awe inspiring for those who have never witnessed the power of the sea, as waves crash along the coastline. You'll have 1 hr. (approximate) to explore the cove's fishing village, browse some of the area's small quaint shops, and take some amazing photographs that you'll cherish for years to come.
