Walk along the quaint streets of Sannenzaka, Ninenzaka, and Nene no Michi and view the traditional shophouses as you make your way to Kodaiji Temple. Built in memory of Toyotomi Hideyoshi’s wife, this temple features stunning zen gardens and lavish interiors.
Just a short walk away, you’ll find the famous Yasaka Shrine, where your friendly TripGuru will regale you with stories about Shinto history, culture, and practices. Exit through the east and you’ll find yourself in Maruyama Park, a favorite haunt during cherry blossom season.
