WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
This day trip offers a blend of scenic hiking, refreshing swims, and in-depth
nature discovery. After a one-hour drive from Huế, you’ll first visit the
park’s Visitor Centre to gain insight into its ecosystem. A scenic uphill
drive brings you to the Hải Vọng Đài (Seaview Summit), where sweeping views
stretch across Tam Giang Lagoon, Lăng Cô Beach, and the East Sea.
From here, your hiking adventure begins. Trails wind through evergreen forest,
past mountain streams, and down to the Ngũ Hồ (Five Lakes) area, where a
series of natural pools awaits. Pause at the Tortoise Lake for a gourmet
picnic lunch, then continue along the medicinal plant trail towards Đỗ Quyên
Waterfall. Here, you can breathe in the pure forest air, admire the dramatic
cascade, and swim in pristine waters.
With hikes ranging from 5–10km per day (customizable to your fitness level),
this tour is accessible yet rewarding. By late afternoon, you’ll be
transferred back to Huế with memories of a refreshing day in one of Central
Vietnam’s most beautiful natural parks.

Itinerary
Transfer by private car (approx. 1 hour, 40km) to Bạch Mã National Park.
Learn about the park’s rich biodiversity, endemic plants, and wildlife.
Continue uphill (19km) by car along a winding but beautiful road. At 1,450m above sea level, take in panoramic views of Tam Giang Lagoon, Lăng Cô Beach, and the East Sea. Visit the remains of French villas and a wartime helicopter base.
Begin your downhill hike (approx. 1.5km). Safety support (poncho, rope, gloves) will be provided for slippery sections. Stop at the most beautiful spot, Tortoise natural pool.
Relax and enjoy a gourmet picnic in the peaceful forest setting.
Follow the trail through lush greenery to Đỗ Quyên waterfall. Admire the majestic cascade, swim in the fresh mountain waters, and experience forest bathing.
Return to the main road for pickup. Transfer back to Huế by late afternoon.
