Highlights

Meet your guide inside Dunkin donuts make sure to be there 30 minutes before. The Edge of the World (its real name is Jabal al-Firin), one of the most popular tourist destinations in Saudi Arabia, gets its nickname from the continuous view of the horizon it offers over its 300-meter-high cliffs, which overlook the surrounding plain. It is part of the much longer Tuwaiq escarpment, descending about 305 meters to the bottom of the ancient ocean. From the top of the cliffs, you'll spot dry rivers that weave across the land and you may see camels moving away below - an ancient caravan route that once ran through these lands. We can enjoy the sunset from the top of the mountain. After sunset we will be heading to our camp to enjoy a beautiful traditional meal and a gather around with other travelers around a campfire to learn more about the local traditions and also to get to know a different traditions from other travelers from across the world.

    Drive to Jebel Fihrayn popularly known as “the Edge of the World” is 120 Km from Riyadh. The Edge of the World is the third stop on our tour of the Natural Wonders of Arabia, following earlier stops at Elephant Rock and Jabal Abyad. Standing atop the 1,000-foot high escarpment at Jabal Fihrayn, you find stretching before you an uninterrupted view of the horizon in all directions, leaving you with the impression that you are, indeed, standing at the very edge of the world. The effect on one’s body and mind and soul is exhilarating.
