Step into the high-energy world of the Myeongdong Nanta Theater for an unforgettable evening of rhythm, comedy, and Korean tradition. This globally renowned non-verbal performance tells the hilarious story of three chefs attempting to prepare a wedding banquet under a tight deadline. Without a single word spoken, the show uses the universal languages of music and slapstick comedy to keep audiences of all ages laughing and cheering.
Marvel at the incredible skill of the performers as they transform ordinary kitchen tools—like knives, cutting boards, and water canisters—into powerful percussion instruments. The show masterfully blends traditional Korean Samulnori rhythms with modern beats and impressive acrobatic feats. Located in the heart of Seoul’s vibrant Myeongdong district, this is a must-see cultural experience that perfectly captures the creative spirit of South Korea.

Awesome experience, improved audience engagement as compared to experience 10 years ago
Fine but more for kids
We enjoyed it very much as a family group of 6, including grandparents and young kids. Very interactive and entertaining.
Easy to book, was contacted by CSO as there were insufficient seats for 9 in one row. They managed to arrange 5 / 4 seating, and also offered the choice to change timings. The show content has been refreshed (I last watched it more than 20 years ago). Still as entertaining, and suitable for kids and adults. Highly recommended!
It was a great show! Highly recommend! The cast was amazing and very funny. The music they created using the kitchen tools was really good. The best part you could easily understand what was happening. I would definitely want to see it again.
The show was such a blast! My 16-yo daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the performance! It was so hilariously entertaining we both laughed till our bellies ached! After our holiday ended and we left Seoul to come home, my gal was still merrily talking about the Nanta Show, and added we must, must watch it again when we do another Seoul trip.
