Admission Ticket FreeBegin your evening tour in search of the Northern Lights with a convenient pickup from city center of Tromsø.. You'll embark on a nighttime hunt for the sometimes elusive Aurora Borealis. Although Norwegian nights are cold and it can take up to several hours to see the colorful light show, the wait is worth it. You're provided with a thermal suit, a snow-side bonfire, and hot drinks and snacks to keep warm along the way. Your 8-passenger tour vehicle takes you deep into the darkness with a small group and a professional photographer as your guide. In addition to snapping your own photos, your guide will take pictures of you under the lights and be of assistance to help with your own equipment, including provided tripods; a Canon is available for a fee. Professional photos taken during the tour are later sent to you via email or social media. After a stop for dinner, your 7-hour tour ends with hotel drop-off in Tromsø after midnight.

Don’t move don’t breath don’t talk! And voila here you go. Presenting the northern lights !
The driver drove us to a dark and quiet spot along the coast, 30km north of Tromsø (the location changes daily depending on weather conditions). We waited around one hour for the northern lights to come. During the wait the driver set up a camp fire and handed out cakes and hot drinks to keep us warm. One hour later, the Northern lights finally came and it was a surreal and unforgettable sight seeing the lights flickering and dancing above our heads. The driver also took photos of us with his professional camera. After the viewing the driver drove us back to our hotels. Overall, I'm very happy to see the northern lights with my own eyes.
Guide Allen was super focused on getting us to the best destination with clear skies (despite the rainy and cloudy weather in Tromso). He also took fantastic photos and made sure we were warm and well fed. He helped us keep our beanie which was left behind in his van as well. Super recommend!
