- The zoo is closed on the Lunar New Year's Eve and late June.
- The zoo will be closed on days when the Taipei City Government announces natural disasters (e.g., typhoon).
- Please confirm the operating hours on the official website prior to your visit.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited. Violators may be fined up to NT$10,000.
- Pets are not allowed in the zoo to ensure the safety of both zoo animals and your own.
- Do not bring balloons, bicycles, scooters, rollerblades, skateboards, or any items that may pose a danger to animals or visitors.
- Feeding animals is strictly forbidden.
- Do not climb fences, cross into enclosures, restricted areas, or shuttle tracks/routes.
- Please avoid disturbing others or causing discomfort to ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors.
- Food and drinks are not allowed in indoor areas.
- Flash photography is prohibited in indoor areas, habitat corridors, and other conservation zones.
- Use of drones/UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) is not permitted.
- All commercial activities are prohibited within the zoo premises.
- Guests 18 years old and below will need to purchase tickets onsite.
- Free of charge for children below 6 years old and 65 years old and above.
We recommend wearing long sleeves, pants, and comfortable walking shoes during your visit. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen and insect repellent to protect against sunburn and bug bites.
- The zoo has 6 water fountains providing both warm and cold water, available for breastfeeding mothers and all visitors.
- There are 2 nursing rooms: one inside the Nursing Station at the Visitor Center, and another near the entrance of the Amphibian and Reptile House shop.
- Diaper changing tables are available in all accessible restrooms throughout the zoo.
- The zoo features 22 public restrooms, all of which are equipped with facilities for visitors with disabilities.
Look for the "Group Ticketing Kiosk", scan your digital QR Code via ticketing machine to redeem paper tickets, hand the tickets to ticketing staff for entry.

Very very big zoo with lots of exotic animals such as Pandas, Koalas and even Camels!! Very nice walk with the wife and i enjoyed every moment.

Convenient with pre purchased tickets. Would be better if Pelago price is cheaper than on site purchase price.
Not a bad price for a zoo. However, most of the animals were asleep when we were there.
