- The pass is valid only for non-Japanese passport holders.
- Name on booking must exactly match the passport; mismatches will prevent exchange.
- Once exchanged, the start date cannot be changed.
- Lost passes cannot be reissued.
- The Tokaido Shinkansen is not covered.
- GALA Yuzawa Station is accessible only when the ski resort is open.
- Valid passport issued by a country other than Japan is required.
- Adult: Age 12 and above.
- Child: Age 6–11 (age determined at time of purchase).
- Children under 5 years old may travel free if not occupying a reserved seat.
- A child pass is required for children under 5 if a reserved seat is needed.
