Snowshoeing involves walking in the snow with specially adapted equipment - snowshoes that allow a large enough area and do not allow you to sink into the snow. Snowshoes are usually made of aluminum and rubber, so that the walk is pleasant, and they are not difficult to carry in a backpack. The tour "Experience Bjelasnica on snowshoes" is a dynamic activity in which tourists and local participants will be able to present interesting cultural and historical facts, especially the Winter Olympics, flora and fauna. We start in Sarajevo and take ride to Babin do on Bjelašnica mountain. The starting point is Babin, which is located at 1267 meters, towards the Heliodrom over the Kolijevka trail with an increase in altitude of 200 meters The length of this trail is aproximately 6 km, while the average increase in altitude is 319 m. It is possible to extend this tour to 10 kilometers if guests decide to take longer route. This route takes you to the edge of Mountain Bjelašnica from where guests can enjoy some of most beautiful views of mountains Treskavica, Bjelašnica and Visociča and canyon of river Rakitnica.
