Issyk - is a sky blue lake in 1.5 hours drive from Almaty. Surrounded by magnificent mountain landscapes this place is a perfect place to visit on a free day.

The cozy atmosphere here makes you feel relaxed and enjoy the nature. You can take a boat ride on the lake, take a nice walk around or set up a picnic in one of the bowers.

You will also have a chance to visit significant place for a Kazakhstan history and archeological world overall - The Golden Man Issyk museum. This archeological complex is famous for the finding of a Golden Man - Scythian warrior dressed in a massive gold armor (6-5 century BC)

There is a nice trout farm cafe on the way where we can stop for an outdoor lunch.
