35 minsAdmission Ticket Not IncludedThe Cave of Melissani in Kefalonia is situated just outside Sami. It is one of the most dramatic places for tourists to visit in Greece. There is a beautiful lake inside the cave that has pretty trees and forests surrounding it. The cave itself is B-shaped. The roof of one of the halls caved in centuries ago letting beautiful sunlight filter in. The depth of the lake is 20 to 30 meters. After a short transfer time you will have the chance to take a boat ride on the lake. There are approx 7 rowing boats that take about 10 people in each.
