This masterclass offers an immersive exploration into the world of cool-
climate chardonnay, crafted for wine lovers eager to deepen their appreciation
of this noble grape. Hosted at our award-winning Cellar Door, you’ll embark on
a deep dive into the nuances of chardonnay, from vineyard to glass.

Begin with a tour of our estate vineyard where you’ll learn how the terroir
and regional influences of the Great Southern shape our chardonnay’s unique
varietal expression. Here you’ll have the opportunity to sample chardonnay
grape juice, capturing the essence of the grape before it becomes wine.

Back at our Cellar Door, your host will explain the key stages of the
chardonnay winemaking process and their influence on the wine’s flavour
profile — all while you taste your way through a flight of Singlefile’s
chardonnay collection. This wine flight features 80ml pours of five chardonnay
wines, including Singlefile’s flagship Limited Release ‘The Vivienne’ Denmark
Chardonnay — usually exclusively reserved for our Collector and Appreciator
Wine Club members. At the end of the masterclass, your host will pour you a
full glass of your favourite chardonnay from the tasting to enjoy as you relax
and take in the beautiful surroundings.

Throughout this experience, you'll gain insights into the character of Great
Southern chardonnay fruit, and the winemaking techniques used to shape the
finished wine in the glass. Leave with printed cards of some of our team's
favourite recipes to pair with a glass of chardonnay, to continue your tasting
journey at home.
