This unique experience hike combines nature's beauty with a great opportunity to observe the wonderful flora and fauna. In our hike through the Tenorio Volcano National Park we pass by the Celeste River Lagoon and walk along two crystal clear streams which come together to form the rio Celeste. Here the clear water mysteriously changesinto a beautiful bright, light-blue color for that reason the name “Light-Blue-River” also we can swim in a specific part of this river where you can enjoy and connect with Nature. Sometimes it is possible to see the emblematic big mammal of Costa Rica (Tapir) meanwhile, when I explain to you along jungle trails we visit an area where volcanic smoke is expelled at high temperatures from the ground at the bottom of the river, creating sulfur bubbles. The stunning colored Rio Celeste Waterfall offers an amazing view if the weather allowed at the end of these activities we are gonna enjoy a delicious typical lunch.
