The temple boasts several ponds and pools. A large lake will immediately catch your eye when walking down the stairs from the entrance. In the centre of the lake is a fountain, featuring a statue of the Goddess of knowledge, art and music, Sarasvati. Behind the lake is a walled-off area with two pools meant for bathing. Continuing your exploration north, you will enter the elevated, main temple grounds.
