How to Redeem and Use Your Hakone Freepass
Step 1 – Receive Your E-Voucher
Email DeliveryAfter booking, you’ll receive an e-voucher via email. Please print it or have it ready on your mobile device.Step 2 – Prepare for Redemption
Valid for 12 MonthsBring your e-voucher and passport to one of the designated Odakyu Sightseeing Service Centers in Shinjuku or Odawara. Redemption must be made within 12 months of the issue date.Step 3 – Redeem for Physical Pass
Redemption RequiredExchange your e-voucher for a physical Hakone Freepass at Shinjuku or Odawara Service Centers during operating hours. You will be asked to select your start date of use (must be within 1 month of redemption).Step 4 – Activate Your Pass
Consecutive DaysThe pass becomes valid from your chosen start date for 2 or 3 consecutive days. Keep the physical ticket with you during your travels.Step 5 – Ride and Explore Hakone

Must Know

The Hakone loop is a wonderful way to see mt Fuji
Loved the Hakone freepass experience. We only have 1 night in Hakone but the weather was great and we managed to use the pass to take a bus to our ryokan, went on the pirate ship, cable car, rope way and train. The staff at the Shinjuku tourist info for the redemption was so helpful. We upgraded to take the Romance car too and everything was fuss free. Love it!
Although we didn't fully utilize the pass (ran out of time for the ropeway / cruise), we still believe it was a great value because the local bus fares in Hakone are quite expensive.

Worked well. Service center in Shinjuku station a little hard to find. Once pass obtained transport in Hakone was easy to use
