Highlights
This tour takes you through meadows, lava fields and a small river. On the way enjoy the nice scenery of volcanic mountains and farmland, passing several farms which will give you an idea of how agriculture has developed in the last decades.
Nice riding trails give a good opportunity to experience the special gait of the Icelandic horse, the “tölt”. At the end of the tour, you are invited for coffee and home-baked cake.

Please note: Before arriving in Iceland, used boots, riding gear, saddlebags, etc. must be disinfected. This is to prevent the introduction of infectious diseases that could pose a significant risk to horses. Riding gear is usually washed, and shoes, helmets, and safety vests are cleaned with iodine or another liquid disinfectant. The use of used riding gloves and all used leather items (such as chaps) is not permitted
