In the morning we pick you up from your hotel (or meet at the meeting point upon agreement) and bring to Reef marina. There we have a swimming pool for training and boat marina. This place is perfect for beginners. Your instructor will prepare dive equipment for you, explain how it works, safety rules, basic physics, physiology of diving, means of communication under water. You will enter the pool (the depth of your chest), get used to breathing under water and do a few basic skills. After the pool we will take 10 min boat ride to the dive site. We do 2 dives on the shallow easy reefs near Playa del Carmen, with lots of snappers, moray eels, rays, sometimes lobsters and turtles. Each of these 2 dives is 30-40 minutes, max depth 10 m (30 feet). One instructor normally takes a group of 2-3 divers, so he can pay enough attention on each.
