Standing 1545 metres above sea level amongst glacial lakes, alpine moorland and World Heritage Listed wilderness, this iconic mountain is pure untamed Tassie. On this full day tour, you’ll score front row seats. We begin our adventures with an easy guided walk to the stunning Pencil Pine Falls. A great introduction to the National Park. After that it’s onto our main walk of the day, Dove Lake Circuit, an easy 6km circumnavigation of the stunning lake that sits at the bottom of Cradle Mountain. The views are epic. If you’re up for a challenge, tackle the hike to Marion’s Lookout. An uphill climb rewards you with breathtaking views of Cradle Mountain, Little Horn, Smithies Peak and so many mirrored lakes.Christmas Hill Raspberry Farm

We provide accurate interpretation, and keep wildlife disturbance to a minimum by viewing from appropriate distances and informing our guests how to view wildlife with patience and respect. Activities are always confined to tracks and boardwalks to minimize negative impacts.
Hotel pickup time is between 7am and 7:25am depending on your location. Hotel pickup is available from select central city Hotels only.
Luggage – Please only bring hand luggage/a day pack on tour, otherwise we won’t all fit! Tours that travel between Hobart and Launceston, we allow for 1 x small sized case & a day pack. If you have excess luggage, please contact our team .
If carrying your luggage is an issue, please ensure you stay at a hotel location that is included in our door to door pick up schedule.
