It has over 5kg of silver, gold, and materials from Britain, Ireland, Europe, and Central Asia. You will find jewellery, heirlooms, and unique objects.
The careful burial preserved textiles like silk, providing information about the Viking Age. This find changes the understanding of a key era for Scotland, England, and Ireland.
Now, over 90 objects will be displayed in Melbourne, showing the Hoard’s global connections and the research behind it.
