Opens 9 am and closes at 6:30 pm You purchase your tubes from Salt River Recreation for $19.00 ea. and take the Salt River Recreation Shuttle to the river. A Valid driver license is required for a tube rental. A deposit per 5 tubes rented is required. Children must be at least eight (8) years or older AND four feet tall for tubing and Shuttle bus. Life vests are strongly recommended for children, non-and-inexperienced swimmers. Glass containers are prohibited by law in the Salt River Recreation Area and will be confiscated. Ice Chest and coolers will be inspected for glass containers, before boarding the Salt River Recreation Shuttles. Recommended: tennis shoes, cap or visor and sunscreen with a minimum of 30 SPF, ice chest/cooler filled with ice, sport drinks, fruit juice and water. (One or two bottles of water per person, per hour while floating, to prevent dehydration.) Approximate River Float Times: Point 1 to Point 2 (bridge) 2-hours Point 2 to Point 4 3-hours Point 1 to Point 4 5-hours once you're off the river and we will come back and pick you up.
