for it’s price point, i found this tour to be extremely value for money and the pace of the programme was to my expectations. the tour brought us to most of the must-see natural sights outside of Almaty and i especially enjoyed the off-road segment when travelling to Kaindy Lake! lunch was also a unique and delicious meal at a village home that was very filling too. the only negative thing about the tour was an extremely grumpy and rude Irishman who incessantly complained about everything and even insulted the guide and driver without any shame. all blame should be on himself for not properly knowing what he signed up for. at that price point, it seemed he was expecting to be chaffeured around in an S class limousine and tended to like royalty. what an arrogant and self-entitled prick. kudos to our guide and driver who still took care of us and remained professional despite the rude participant’s non-stop tantrums.

The tour was very well organized, tour guide was knowledgeable with fluent English speaking, pickup and drop-off and lunch was included in the tour cost.

Pick up on time. Great experience. Bring the proper shoes to hike.
