Lake Gosaikunda is a holy site in Nepal, otherwise referred to as "Gosainkunda," which is of great importance to the Hindu as well as to the Buddhists. Gosaikunda Lake in the Rasuwa district is an alpine freshwater lake situated at an elevation of 4,380m, Langtang National Park. The lake surface is about 34 acres and much of the Winter season, i.e. December to Feb, is already frozen. Winter has its benefits, however. If you're going in winter, the snow-covered atmosphere gives you a heavenly nostalgia at Gosaikunda Lake. No matter the seasons, there is something new to Gosaikunda Lake every year.
