Itinerary
Moshi
Day 1: Moshi → Machame Gate → Machame Camp (1,790–3,010 m, 5–7 hrs) – Pickup from hotel, trek through rainforest, observe wildlife, overnight at Machame Camp. Day 2: Machame → Shira Camp (3,010–3,505 m, 4–6 hrs) – Hike moorland, scenic views, acclimatize, overnight Shira Camp. Day 3: Shira → Lava Tower → Barranco Camp (3,505–4,630–3,976 m, 6–8 hrs) – Ascend Lava Tower, descend Barranco, enjoy views, overnight Barranco Camp. Day 4: Barranco → Karanga Camp (3,976–4,035 m, 4–5 hrs) – Climb Barranco Wall, trek alpine desert, prepare for summit, overnight Karanga Camp. Day 5: Karanga → Barafu Camp (4,035–4,673 m, 3–4 hrs) – Steep hike, rest, prepare for midnight summit, overnight Barafu Camp. Day 6: Barafu → Uhuru Peak → Mweka Camp (4,673–5,895–3,100 m, 10–14 hrs) – Midnight summit, sunrise at Uhuru Peak, descend via Stella Point, overnight Mweka Camp. Day 7: Mweka → Gate → Moshi (3,100–1,640 m, 3–4 hrs) – Trek rainforest, collect certificate, transfer back to hotel. Activities clients will do: hiking, wildlife spotting, acclimatization climbs, summit attempt, rainforest & alpine trekking.
