On the way you will pass through the wide field of sisal plantation. You will have a short stop in Morogoro for hot lunch. After Lunch proceed to Mikumi NP. Arrive for afternoon game drive until sunset. Accommodation: Tanapa Tourist cottage. (Inside the park) or Mikumi Safari Lodge / Camp Bastian (outside the Park) Meal plan –Lunch and Dinner. Mikumi National Park was established in1964 covering an area of 1070 square kilometers; it was later extended in 1975 to cover the current area of 3,230 square kilometers. Mikumi National Park is located to the North of the famous Selous Game Reserve. The park is the fifth largest National Park in Tanzania and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam throughout the year Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, crocodiles and many more. Enjoy the sunrise with morning game drive, this will take about two hours and a half and then drive back to the camp for breakfast.
