Highlights

The Mikumi National Park near Morogoro, Tanzania, was established in 1964. It covers an area of 3230 km² hence is the fifth largest in the country. The park is crossed by Tanzania's A-7 highway.


Camp Bastian Mikumi is set in unique and natural surroundings. They are offering comfortable accommodation and a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Bastian Camp is located in the buffer zone of Mikumi National Park about 10 km from main gate.

    Full day game drive in Mikumi or two half day game drive o/n Bastian Camp Mikumi Whilst on safari, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as large numbers of giraffe, buffalo and elephants. If you are lucky you may also be able to spot lions, leopards and African wild dogs. Likely to be seen animals include zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland and antelope. Several observation towers enable you to overview the park in its entirety.
