Check the weather before booking — a sunny day makes a huge difference! We were lucky to have perfect weather and spent most of the cruise on the open-air upper deck, where a windbreaker is essential. A great option if you want a short fjord experience from Bergen itself, rather than spending a full day on Norway in a Nutshell or Hardangerfjord in a Nutshell. The scenery is still spectacular. Bring your own snacks and water, although there is a small snack counter and free WiFi onboard. The only downside was that the boat was quite crowded, making it difficult to get a good spot and take photos. Overall, a beautiful fjord experience.
Nice cruise to explore the fjord. Weather was not the best hence we could not go all the way as planned.
