- For SP7 train (10:40 PM departure), shuttle bus pickup from Lao Cai Station is at 6:40 AM.
- Each cabin accommodates 1–4 passengers depending on selected option.

- Sapaly Express: Children under 6 years old travel free when sharing a bed with parents (maximum 1 child per 1 adult). Children from 6 years old pay adult price.
- Chapa Express: Children under 5 years old and under 112 cm can share a bed with parents free of charge (1 child per cabin, maximum 2 children per group of 12 guests). Children from 5–10 years old and height from 112 cm must purchase a full ticket.
- Vic Sapa Train: Children under 5 years old and under 110 cm can share a bed with parents free of charge (1 child per cabin, maximum 2 children per group of 12 guests). Children from 5–10 years old and height from 110 cm must purchase a full ticket.

- Chapaly Express: Once the order is confirmed, it cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded.
- Vic Sapa: Cancellations made 48 days or more before the selected date are allowed. Cancellation fees apply for cancellations made 8-47 days prior to the selected date. Cancellations are not allowed within 0–7 days of the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified during this period, and no refunds will be granted.
- Shuttle Bus (Lao Cai Station ↔ Sapa Town): Once the order is confirmed, it cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded.
- Laman Express: Cancellations made at least 31 days before the selected date will incur a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations made 14-30 days before the selected date will incur a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations are not allowed within 0-13 days of the selected date. So fun and great experience.
Everything was smooth. We collected our tickets at the railway station and board the train 40 mins before departure time. Carriage is clean and tidy. Washroom is also well maintained. My partner is a light sleeper and had issue falling asleep due to the noise and movement of train but it is no fault of the train. Overall a pleasant trip.

It was much better than I had expected. The ride was not as bumpy as mentioned by some other passengers. It was a little noisy but we were OK with it. The toilet was clean and the staff members were friendly and helpful. The lounge at Sapa station was cozy and convenient for travellers like us. We highly recommend Chapa Express Train.
Chapa Express (Sapa/ Laocai --> Hanoi) was a great experience! Train was punctual and cabin was clean and comfortable, with amenities and all we need for a good night sleep! Highly recommended!
