Salinas Lagoon salt lake is part of the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve and It's home of different kind of birds. At Salinas we can find Andean and Chilean flamingos, Andean goose, Andean avocet, Tamarugo Conebill, Puna plover, Canasteros and hummingbirds, also we can find Queñuas. Salinas offers spectacular view of Andean panorama making very interesting this journey for travelers looking to get the best pictures of volcanic landscape. The lake is in the midway between volcan Misti, volcan Ubinas and the snow-covered of Pichu Pichu. Trekking around this lake, sighting variety of animal life, specially Andean and migratory birds. The hike will take around 2 hours and we will be at 4200 MASL.
