For 20-30 minutes, explore Everglades National Park on your own and stop in at the national park visitor center. Collect stamps, pins, or other souveneirs of your choice from ENP. Also, go on a scenic narrated drive led by your naturalist through the Everglades.
Take an exhilarating 60-70 minute air boat ride way far from land way out in the true "River of Grass." This non-touristy trip is your opportunity to see all kinds of wildlife and a vast array of bird species.
