Laguna Lachuá is a cenote located in Cobán. Its shape is almost perfectly circular and its waters turn in different colors that will make you fall in love with it. The Maya Q'eqchi people named it “Lachuá”. This is a paradisiacal place and the waters are crystal clear, small fishes can be seen with no effort; a true oasis in the middle of the very humid tropical forest. This beautiful place is also known as the mirror of heaven as its calmness will reflect the sky perfectly and will give a sense of a “never-ending heaven”.
