Embark on a 2-day, 1-night Senaru Crater Rim trekking adventure and immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Gunung Rinjani National Park. Designed to be both challenging and rewarding for most fitness levels, this journey takes you through lush rainforests and along scenic ridges, culminating in a steep ascent with an elevation gain of 2,000 meters on the first day. Your effort is richly rewarded with unforgettable panoramic views from the crater rim, offering a spectacular and unforgettable experience.

Itinerary

  • Senaru

    2-Day Rinjani Trek: Senaru Crater Rim Day 1: Forest to Rim Register at the Rinjani Trek Centre in Senaru (601m). Trek through dense tropical forest, resting at Pos 1 & 2. Enjoy lunch at Pos 3 (2,000m), then ascend through grassland on a steeper trail to Senaru Crater Rim (2,641m). Camp overnight with breathtaking views of the sunset, Mount Agung (Bali), the Gili Islands, Mount Rinjani’s summit, Segara Anak Lake, and the Gunung Baru volcanic cone. Day 2: Sunrise & Descent Wake for sunrise and a relaxed breakfast before descending back to Senaru. Break for snacks along the route and lunch at Pos 2. Arrive in Senaru around 1pm.
