Bring up to 8 guests* to mine genuine raw Montana sapphires in the heart of SODO at Glitter and Gold Studio. Bring friends, bring snacks, and BYOB! Tickets include one cup of sapphire gravel from Montana's oldest sapphire mine, Gem Mountain, and all the tools and instructions you'll need for mining! Additional gravel can be purchased in person for $10/cup (all profits go directly to the Lavender Rights Project for their work on "advancing gender self-determination, collective safety, and community-rooted systems of care"). We begin with a short intro and mining demonstration, then it's time to get your hands dirty and dig into your own gravel to hunt for raw sapphire crystals! At the end, we'll sort and weigh your finds to take home. *We can host a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 guests per mining party. Each ticket is good for 1 miner.
