Highlights

Kajal is the chef and she’s based in Mumbai.


Coming from a traditional Indian family, she learned cooking these authentic recipes from her mother and her older sister. In 2017 she started food tours. In this cooking class, you’ll learn how to make a traditional paratha and masala tea.


Indian tea also known as chai is milky & rich, deeply colored, very hot, and boldly flavourful with a need for sugar to offset the toasty bitterness. The Masala Tea (Chai) is delicious Indian milk tea made with a blend of spices such as ginger.


Parathas are the highly popular unleavened flat-breads made with flour, salt, butter, and water and are eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner in India.


As we are bringing this authentic experience to you from our small home in India, we hope you understand that we are not able to deliver professional-level videography, but will do our absolute best to bring you an incredible cooking experience and share our culture with you!

Connect with your instructor live on Skype, straight from their home kitchen in Mumbai's largest slum, and learn the ins and outs of cooking popular Indian dishes. Meet our family and learn about our culture while cooking delicious food. Available times are in Indian Standard Time.
