My motivation was to offer activities for families, which was difficult to find for children. This inspired me to set up a fun & creative experience for the whole family (> 3 years) where they can enjoy creating mosaic artworks together in Gaudís mosaic technique."trencadís. You’ll learn how to use the tool, choose your base and colours and create your first mosaic art work.. You can choose between different objects, you can create a photo frame, boxes and animals. Enjoy this activity with your children; They will never forget who Gaudí was! This activity is for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.

In 2016, I was accredited for excellence with a master craftsman diploma for outstanding merits in work and divulgation of the Art "Trencadïs", awarded by the President of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Itinerary
Mosaicos Barcelona MOSAICCOS (Trencadís)
This Mosaic workshop is specifically offered to families with children. You get the chance to spend some time together while learning how to create an artwork in the famous mosaic technique "trencadís" of Antoni Gaudí. You can choose between several objects, like fish, cat, heart, butterfly, picture frame and more. You will work with ceramic tiles (>10 y.o.) or pre-cut acrylic mosaic tiles (<10 y.o). ⚠️ Your artwork will need to be grouted by staff following the workshop and picked up on the same afternoon or next day. Enjoy this activity with your children; They will never forget who Antoni Gaudí was and all of you can bring home a lovely selfmade souvenir of Barcelona!! Our MOSAICCOS experience is also sustainable and awarded with the BIOSPHERE certification.
