On the back of the gate, you’ll see a pair of huge “O‑waraji” straw sandals, each weighing about 500 kilograms, hung to ward off evil. The gate was originally built to store important Buddhist scriptures. At night it’s beautifully illuminated, creating a calm atmosphere that is very different from the daytime.Senso-ji Temple

Senso‑ji is known for giving many “bad luck” results, which makes getting a “good luck” one feel even more special.
