An ancient Albanian temple, a unique monument of antiquity, is located in one of the oldest places in Azerbaijan - the village of Kish, located near Sheki. The emergence of the temple dates back to the 1st century, a time when the territory of Azerbaijan was included into Caucasian part of Albania. Historians suggest that the temple was founded by the Apostle Elisha, who brought Christianity to Albania. The End of the Tour. At the end of the tour (approximately at 23:00) the driver will drop you off to your location in the city center of Baku.
