Plešivica is famous Croatian wine region located 30 km southwest of Zagreb with centuries-old tradition in wine-growing and making a wide selection of high-quality and renowned wines with the emphasis on white and sparkling wines. You will have the opportunity to visit two local wineries, meet local wine-makers and try a selection of wines with distinctive aroma and taste.
Besides enjoying in wine tasting and beautiful landscape of Zumberak Samobor Hills Nature Park you will have the option to have a short hike up to the ruins of 13th century Samobor Castle and/or to explore the city of Samobor famous for its interesting culinary tradition and well-preserved 19th century charm.

Configuration of the terrain and the climate is ideal for the cultivation of grape vines therefore Plesivica region is home to some of the best wines in Croatia. Passing through this beautiful countryside landscape we will stop in a two local wineries to taste premium wines and traditional homemade specials. Our visit will include a guided tour of the wine cellar accompanied by interesting stories of wine-growing tradition in this region.
