Highlights
Join a guided tour of the Royal Palace and learn about the history of this large palace. It is twice the size of Buckingham Palace and was the residence of the Spanish Monarchy from 1766 to 1931.
Built in an Italian baroque style, the palace now serves as a venue for important receptions of the Spanish Crown. See the rooms where audiences, dinner parties, and agreements have taken place over the years.
Walk around Armory Square, see tapestries, and furniture. Follow your guide through the Grand Staircase, the Throne Room, and the Banqueting Hall. After the guided tour, visit the Royal Armory at your own pace and see views from the Armory Square viewpoint.
